Welcome to the Armoona's Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”). This document outlines the procedures for collecting, storing, safeguarding, and sharing your information, as well as the parties with whom we share it. We recommend reading this in conjunction with Armoona’s Terms of Use.

Where This Privacy Policy Applies
This Privacy Policy applies to websites, apps and events operating under the Armoona brand (collectively, “services”).
What Information We Collect
Discovering your soulmate requires a deep understanding of who you are. To achieve this, we gather a range of information, including personal information and sensitive data. Part of this information is acquired when you complete your Armoona profile and preferences. Additional information is collected as you engage with our services, such as expressing interest in other profiles or sending messages. We also gather information about your usage patterns through access logs and may receive data from third parties, such as when you access our services through your Apple account.
Information you give us
- When you create an account, you provide us with essential information, such as your name, age, gender, date of birth, sexual orientation, and height. Essential information can only be entered once during account setup and cannot be changed later. If any of it is incorrect, you would have to delete your current account and create a new one.
- When you complete your profile, you provide us with optional information, such as the languages you speak, your ethnicities, weight, bio, dealbreakers, ideal soulmate profile. Optional information can be changed by you at any time.
- When you add media content such as photos, audio and videos to your profile.
- When you consent to geolocation, you provide us with your approximate (within a few kilometers) location.
- When you chat, you provide us with text and media content.
- When you subscribe to a paid service or make a purchase on Apple App Store, you provide us with transaction details. Please note that we do not ever receive your financial data, such as the credit card used for the transaction.
- When you participate in surveys, focus groups or market studies, you provide us your insights into our products and services, responses to our questions, and testimonials.
- When you participate in our promotions, events, contests, or sweepstakes, we collect the information that you use to register or enter.
- If you contact our customer support team, we collect the information you give us during the interaction.
Information we receive from others
- Armoona users may provide information about you as they use our services, for instance, as they interact with you or if they submit a report involving you.
- When you use Apple for login, we receive your Apple ID, full name, and email.
Information generated or automatically collected when you use our services
- When you use our services, we collect the data on your activities, such as what screen you opened in the app, the timestamp when you logged in, and errors that were generated.
- We collect information from and about the device(s) you use to access our services, such as device ID, device type, and IP addresses.
- We use cookies and similar technologies (e.g., web beacons, pixels, SDKs) to recognize you and/or your device. Please see to our Cookie Policy for more information.

With other users

This includes functions like data hosting and maintenance, analytics, customer support, marketing, advertising, payment processing, and security operations. We give service providers only the information necessary to the service that they are providing.
With general public
Your public profile, in the form of a link or screenshot, can be shared in public spaces like social media or email lists.
For corporate transactions
Your information may be transferred if we are engaged, whether wholly or partially, in a merger, sale, acquisition, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, bankruptcy, or any other alteration of ownership or control.
With law enforcement
Your information might be disclosed if it is reasonably required: (i) to adhere to a legal procedure, such as a court directive, subpoena, or search warrant, government/law enforcement inquiry, or other lawful mandates; (ii) to aid in the prevention or identification of criminal activities (within the bounds of applicable law in each instance); or (iii) to ensure the safety of any individual.

Your Rights
Depending on privacy laws in your country, you may have the following rights:
- To Know: You may have the right to request a copy of the information we retain about you, and under certain circumstances, receive it in a portable format.
- To Correct: You have the ability to correct most of the information you provided by directly editing your profile within the service. However, due to the nature of matchmaking, certain information, once entered, may be irrevocable. In such instances, we recommend deleting your current account and creating a new one with the updated information.
- To Delete: You may have the right to request that we delete personal information we have about you.
- To Restrict: You may have the right to request that we restrict certain processing.
If you wish to exercise any of the rights mentioned above, please contact us using the email or postal address provided in the "Who We Are" section above. For your safety and the protection of all our users, we may request proof of identity before responding to your request. Requests that are unlawful, invalid, infringe on trade secrets or intellectual property, or violate the privacy or other rights of someone else may be rejected.

Your data is stored on servers located in the United States.
How Long We Retain Your Information
We retain your personal information for as long as you use our services or as necessary to fulfill the purpose(s) for which it was collected, to provide our services, ensure safety and protect the interests of our users, enforce our Terms of Use, pursue legitimate business purposes, and engage in other actions permitted by law.
No Minors
Our services are limited to individuals aged 18 and older. If you have reason to believe that a user is under the age of 18, kindly report their profile using the reporting functionality available in the service.
Changes to Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is subject to change as we update our services and in response to evolving laws and regulations. You will be informed of any material changes either within the services or through email before they become effective. If you continue to use the services after the "applies from" date posted at the top of the Privacy Policy, it indicates your consent and acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the update, you have the option to delete your account.
